General terms and conditions
Rental conditions
- Rentals must be from Saturday 5 p.m. to Saturday 10 a.m. at the latest, and from Sunday 5 p.m. to Sunday 10 a.m. at the latest,
- Weekly rentals are possible out of season,
- Rental prices are per week and per flat (excluding extras and options),
- Charges (water, electricity) are included,
- During your stay, you are responsible for the upkeep of your flat,
- Your flat must be left clean and tidy (the final cleaning option will be invoiced at €40/50/60 depending on the type of flat),
- Pets are not allowed.
- Booking conditions: 30% deposit required for booking,
- As soon as we receive your deposit, we will send you an invoice / holiday voucher,
- The balance must be paid no later than 30 days before your arrival.
Booking conditions
- All bookings must be accompanied by a deposit of 30% of the total rental price,
- By cheque, holiday vouchers, credit card or bank transfer,
- Cancellations must be confirmed in writing 30 days before arrival,
- The flats are designed for a maximum of 4 people; extra beds are not permitted,
- Tents, caravans and vehicles are not permitted in the communal areas,
- Private parking is available for vehicles.
Payment by credit card
- On the day of your booking, we will debit your credit card for the deposit corresponding to 30% of the total cost of your stay,
- The balance of the rental will be debited by credit card 30 days before the start of your stay unless you specify otherwise,
- If your reservation is made 30 days before your arrival, the full rental amount will be debited.
Informations
- The customer must submit a valid credit card by completing the credit card form,
- The customer must also check that the information provided on the form is correct,
- For payments by credit card, your cryptogram is compulsory (see the back of your blue card).
Extras and options
- Tourist tax: €1 per person per day,
- Deposit 150€ or proof of identity,
- Towels: 7€ per person/change,
- Sheets: 7€ per person/change,
- Final cleaning (optional) 40/50/60 € depending on the type of flat,
- Baby cot: €17
Arrival and departure
- On the day of your arrival, the keys will be handed over from 5 p.m. For late arrivals (after 7 p.m.), please inform us by telephone: +33 4 95 58 89 76 or by e-mail thalassaresidence.calvi@gmail.com,
- On the day of departure, your flat must be vacated by 10 a.m. For early departures (before 7 a.m.), we will complete the final formalities the day before.
Changes or cancellations
- All changes or cancellations must be made in writing,
- All changes or cancellations must be confirmed by us.
Cancellation policy
- Cancellation by the customer will incur variable charges depending on the date of cancellation,
- More than 30 days before the start of your stay, full refund of your payment less €40 booking fee,
- Between 30 and 15 days before your arrival, 25% of the price of your stay,
- Between 14 and 8 days before your arrival, 50% of the price of your stay,
- Between 7 and 2 days before your arrival 75% of the price of your stay,
- Less than 2 days before your arrival 100% of the price of your stay,
- In the event of no-show: 100% of the price of the stay.
- Early departure during your stay or late arrival will not give rise to any refund,
- We advise you to take out cancellation insurance or consult your credit card contract,
- In the event that, due to circumstances beyond its control, the Thalassa residence is obliged to modify or cancel all or part of the holiday, the customer may either:
– Cancel the holiday and recover a full refund of the sums paid, excluding any damages and interest.
– Or accept a modification proposed by the Thalassa residence.
Disclaimer
- The Thalassa residence cannot be held responsible for the loss, theft or damage of personal belongings in the residence or in the flats, car park and communal areas,
- The Thalassa residence cannot be held responsible for circumstances beyond its control or for the actions of third parties,
- The Thalassa residence cannot be held responsible for unfavourable weather conditions or local events and more generally for any event beyond its control which could lead to the cancellation of certain services.
